What style/brand/color of underwear do u prefer to wear under your workout clothes? Personally given my predisposition to getting hard ons in the gym, I opt to wear white Hanes or some other tighty whitey brand.

I usually wear some sort of brief (low rise or bikini). Occasionally a jock or boxerbriefs. It depends on what I'm wearing that day

My gym is a YMCA, so I wear a standard Bike white wide band jock. If I go to a hotel workout room on trips, I wear more of a fashion jock.

My Fav for the gym is Under Armour boxerjock. Very comfortable, great with sweat. Love the vented functional fly. I think they are really sexy too. My second favorite is c-in2 bamboo street jock. Very comfortable jock, holds everything out front, so nice bulge in shorts, cool and breathable too.

agree with the c-in2 gear i usually wear the trophy shelf for running but choose the sling support if in the gym it pushes everything out front and i know there are more than a few eyes looking in that direction the briefs are best but if i am wearing shorts i wear the sling army trunks.....nice

Gyms are for jocks man! white, red, black, whatever color you like. Leave the tighty whities and boxer briefs for other dates. There's nothing like coming into the locker room and seeing some guys changing into their straps. Ever notice how causal some guys are with it? The damn damn leg straps curl or the waist band bunches up and they just pull their gym pants on. Other carefully arrange the bands sso that they lie flat--that's how I do it. Other guys so or do a min-squat, drop the goods into the pouch, give a little lift of the front of the waist band and then move on. Man, I could do a master's thesis on jocks and underwear--especially b riefs and bikinis. Anyother jock sniffs out there who are observant of locker room dressing behavior?

I agree - jocks and jock straps are hot! At my gym, the age range varies from chicken/young guys who are buds and come in a small group (for security? lol), adult men who can be of many persuasions, and older guys who are still going to the gym but it's barely a holding maneuver at this point....but good for them for keeping trying!

The dressing room etiquette might be not to everyone's liking - I read other forums where the habits of walking around naked, or at least no having a towel wrapped around you puritanically could put a lot of you off. But here at my gym in Santa Fe -- and it's a little notorious for attracting some good men -- there's the casual stripping down, chatting with others while your junk's hanging around in full view, maybe doing your shaving and toilette buck naked at the sinks, walking around and chatting, into the sauna, the steam, the showers -- and back to your locker very much in the old Greek/Spartan/Roman manners.

But to the original question -- yes, putting on the jock strap should be done so it's sitting properly, straps flat, supporter pouch filled nicely and comfortably -- then you're good to go hit the gym floor, the machines, the weights, the treadmills, etc. And come back perspiring, peel off those damp gym clothes, let things air out and bring your towel with you to sit on in the sauna or steam (or cover discreetly if you find others already in there and enclosed in towels -- that's a hint, I guess).

I admire many of these guys' bodies and success stories of keeping fit, looking great, and not being ashamed to let things hang out and show your taut cheeks and good legs and chests -- and sometimes there's a great smile and a twinkle in the eyes, too.....hmmmmmm.

Boxer briefs...boxers are 2 baggy n briefs wont keep me contained well enough lol

to "Justaguynextdoor": The priape with ring or the lace up? I have both. Bike straps are really hot. I have a vintage 1980. large, three red strips, so worn that U can use the leg strings for dental floss. and the wasit band is so puckered up that someone else would probably throw it away. No me man! Only wear for those special dates with dudes are really into jock straps.
