When you are a kid, you aren't in a position to make informed undergarment decisions for yourself. It was more exciting to have your favorite cartoon character proudly displayed across your butt. Once you became mature enough to make your own underwear purchases, what influenced the style you chose? Was it peer pressure, family influence, because you wanted to feel sexier or because you wanted to try something more comfortable?

When I first started buying my own under, what I thought that others would think is sexy was paramount.

In college, I let myself be swayed for a while by the popular opinion that "real men wear boxers".

Now though, comfort is way important but I also just like to wear what I think flatters my body whether or not anyone else actually agrees is of little matter at my age now Smiler

I, too, went through a phase where I wore the "popular" underwear - boxers - even though I really prefer more stability than they provide. Now, I choose underwear that I find sexy on me, in the hope that others agree. Comfort is a key factor, as is design - I really like fun, colorful underwear under my suit and tie. I have some great comic-print undies and a lot of color in my drawer - it's a rare thing for me to wear basic white any more.

Cool Colors, colors & more colors. Prints, especially stripes. Oh yeah, lo-rise or bikini style. I just hate too much fabric. Can't stand full rise anything; too baggy. And, NO WHITES, BLACK or GRAY...Dull, Drab & Boring! Forget boxers, they shouldn't even make 'em.
