My second review of briefs are from the Nordstrom's Department Store chain, found at many malls and you can get them online as well. They sell for $16.50 for a 3-pack and you can get them in a variety of colors, although I only have seen mixed combos, such as blue, grey and black in 3-packs, as opposed to all-black, all-grey, etc. They also have all white 3-packs.

This underwear is a good value, although the material is a little thin, so I don't think they will last as long as some of the other brands. The fit is solid in the front and back and they are plenty comfortable. These briefs as well as the Brooks Brothers ones, are great for sleeping as well.

One concern is the sizing. Usually, I'll size 1 up with underwear, so notice my shock when I opened the size 38s and they were like a tent. So I eat the $16.50, go back and get the 36s. Still too big! I've never seen that before in briefs. I eat the $16.50 again, go back and buy the 34s. Good fit. Pretty amazing. I since went back and bought some more, but got them on sale for $11, so that made up for the early pairs I had to toss.

I enclosed a photo for those not familiar with these. If you'd like to see side and back views, drop a note and I'll try and add those. I'll follow another poster on the ratings scale and start posting based on 1-10. I'll update the Brooks Brothers post to add a score.

All in all, Nordstrom's briefs is another winner if you're a white briefs guy. My score 8.5.

Did washing them make any difference, they shrink any after the wash?

I should have added that after buying the 38s and 36s, I did try washing them and they did not shrink at all. So I could not save them.

My fitting advice would be one size down from your pants/waist size. So if you're a 36, get the 34s. These are the only briefs that I had sized down on, as opposed to sizing up.
