Jockstraps have really made their way into the gay mainstream in the past few years. Traditional undergarments have been replaced by jockstraps that now come in a variety of colors, prints, fabrics and styles. Recently I have been more and more interested in jockstraps and have wanted to start a collection. Who, in your opinion, makes the world's best jockstrap? Base your answer on quality, price, appearance and comfort. I am looking forward to hearing your opinions.

I am a traditionalist when it comes to jockstraps. I find the look of the standard gym jockstraps from my youth most sexy. I personally wear BIKE jockstraps 24/7. I find the fit and the support and comfort of the mesh pouch ideal. They are great for daily wear, working out and sex! Who doesn't love to have their cock and balls sucked and worked on through the pouch of his jockstrap! It doesn't get better than while wearing a jockstrap with a mesh pouch.

The GoSoftwear stuff is really really comfortable, and so far have held up really well. Jocko and Joe Snyder stuff looks snazzy, but they are more after looks than comfort. Haven't had those long enough to really judge their durability. I have one jockstrap from Zakk Studios and while it looked really snazzy, it's falling apart.

My two favs are the AussieBum Cool Jock and the new N2N Waistband jock. The N2N jock is one of the softest jocks I own. It feels great and hold my package very well.

I'm a fan of all sorts.

Safe-T-Gard's regular jocks and swim jocks are quite nice.

AussieBum's Cool Jock is also extremely comfortable, and sexy. GoSoftwear's padded jock is quite hot as well, and not too ostentatious.

Another nice swim jock is the Sport Jock black swim one (which I have found works nicely with my Ami Sanzuri zip front bikini in terms of holding everything properly and ensuring I don't get caught in that zipper--that only had to happen once to make me learn my lesson!).

And of course the ever-popular (and original!) Bike ones are not bad either.

I have many other types, brands, styles, and colors, but these ones are the stand-outs in my experience.

I have to agree with Dr.Phil. Safe-T-Gard's are nice as well as theN2N brand. I recently purchased a Tulio Slinky Jock and it has to be most confortable jock I have owned (and very sexy too)

I really enjoy my N2N jock. I just ordered some joe snyders and can't wait for them to arrive.

My two favourite jockstraps are the Aussibum Cool jock (its so soft and sexy), and the Nasty Pig jocks...super comfortable!

I like SafTGuard's feel and support - not too tight, comfortable, and they come in good strong colors, too! (Bright red, a patriotic red/white/blue model, etc.)

Bike swim jocks are good with the narrower waistband.

2(x)ist and RIPS y-backed thong/jocks are inexpensive (at least at TJMaxx) and a little different look with that y-back.

Baskit makes an urban jock with perforated pouch in neon colors (or gray, too) which are very comfortable and ventilated.

Priapewear from Canada makes some great jocks, too -- one model has a built-in c-ring to keep everything pulled up and out a bit!

The imported jocks are great looking but I've not splurged yet on Aussie Bum and the European/South American lines. I did buy a Cocksox "Goliath" slingshot thong recently which might qualify as a mild-mannered jock in that it holds your junk in a pouch, but the only waistband is an elastic thin cord; same cord goes down the crack and under to connect with the pouch.

International Jock has all sorts of brands and looks -- verrrry nice!

Champion makes a good traditional jock. The elastic in the waistband is very stiff, they usually run between $12 to $15, usually have to get at a specialty sports store.

I also like Duke brand jocks, they are cheaper running $5-7 and are available at Wal-Mart or Target.
