So I am a bit confused. I haven't worn a jock since I played high school football. I was thinking of buying one to wear under my board-shorts for when I am at the pool. Are jocks now being worn as everyday underwear? Help!
Absolutely they're worn as everyday underwear. And there are lots of designer jocks out there that can be more comfortable than the standard. Calvin Klein, CIN2, 2xist and others have great jocks.

Well, I just bought two jocks. One is a swimmer jock by Bike. I bought it to wear while working out and at the pool under boardshorts. I also bought the Wax street jock just to see how if feels as normal underwear. Wish me luck.
About 5 minutes ago my doorbell rang and the postman dropped off my two new jocks. I immediately undressed and tried on the bike swimmer jock. I must admit I liked the way it felt on. Next it put on the Wax sport jock (black) and I loved it! I may take a bit to get used to the lack of coverage. I will report back with more thoughts as I wear this jock.

Well, straight or otherwise, you should post some pictures of your new jocks -- we need some new additions to the galleries! IMHO

I will definitely post some pictures of my new jocks. I need to get my camera back from a friend first.
So after wearing the Wax sport jock all day and night yesterday, I can safely say it feels great. It keeps things in place provides great support and isn't too tight. I will wear the other jock all of today and let you all know how it is.
I am not much of a thong guy either. I just can handle the string up my butt. However with the jock I get the same kind of minimal coverage but with out the uncomfort of a thong.
I am not much of a writer but I'll consider writing a review of the Wax jock. Let me wear it a few more times to get a better feel for it.

I wear somekinda jock everyday. Bought the WAX jock but haven't worn it yet. Saving it for vacation this summer. The CK and fashion jocks that don't have the web pouch will be the best bet for you until you get used to jocking regularly. The web is just to intense on the package for 10-12 hours unless your used to it.

just make sureif you want your jock to last, if you wear it in a pool that it is a swimmers one. they are made to handle the harsh chemicals. Can't have your jock falling aparnt on you.

If you like the feeling or a jock, try the throng from CK. Yes the strap goes in your ass crack but you will get used to that in a short while. The pouch area confines your package less than a jock and there are no leg straps to chafe your crotch
I wear a jockstrap 24/7. Most of my jockstraps are BIKE jockstraps and I find those perfect for daily wear as well as during sex and working out. Nothing is sexier on a man than a jockstrap, period.
