So as much as I like underwear, I only have one jockstrap (I prefer trunks/boxer briefs). So I have decided it's time to go shopping, and was wondering if someone could recommend a good one. I don't want it for working out, just the look. And here's part of the "problem" - I only have a size 30 inch waist, but a well above average package, and the jock that I have (Champion brand) doesn't cover everything like it should. So if someone could recommend something with some extra room up front, I'd appreciate it!

The Safe-T-Guard brand sold by International Male is surprisingly comfortable. The pouch seems generous enough and is not so binding as to not let the boys have a little breathing room. I'd go one size larger. They come is a variety of colors--all of them hot looking. Avoid the Flarico brand. While the pouch is generous enough, the waist band is sized very tightly.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I'm going to get that as well as the Priape Wear Football jock, which looks really hot!

Hey Rico, if you buy the Priape, buy one size larger and laces a bit looser. Otheres on this chart line have recommended that. The lace-up will really turn heads in the gym, man, especially if you're not a football player. I'd like to hear about your experiences with this item.

Thanks for the advice - can't wait to try on that Priape! I saw that these forums are sponsored by International Jock so I went to their site- their selection of jocks is incredible, plus they have other stuff I want too, so I'll probably order from them.

Check out the Priapewear "enhancer" jock -- not that you need enhancing, apparently, but it means it has a built-in kockring (elastic w/snap) to push things up and out a bit more! Always a good thing....

And yes,I'm one of those who recommends loose-lacing on the footballer jock, and maybe buying a size up in your case -- you're not looking for "compression shorts" after all....

Rico, definitely try a Safe-t-gard, both the basic and swim jocks are great for the gym, running or under a pair of jeans.

The Calvin Klein Tech strap is great too when you're looking for something with a little bit more style.

Avoid C-IN2's, their other styles are greeat and I actually love their thick waistband, but the straps bunch up in the strangest way.

So I wore the one jock that I own to bed a couple of nights ago and then wore it during the day... why did I wait so long?! I had only tried it on once before and then took it off because I kept falling out of it when I would go running. But I wore it under a pair of slim fit jeans, and let's just say I enjoyed it all day long O.o even if I had to adjust myself a few times! Now I gotta go buy more - I'm totally hooked!

Hey Rico, man. Go on line or dial up and ask to have the "International Male" and/or "Undergear" catalogue sent out to you. They are issued 4 x/year and are chuck full of hunky men in very hot attire, indeed. Many times they will have special sales--usually stuff that doesn't mnove too well--but, still, look pretty hot. Some of the pics are almost better than porn!

I checked out the Undergear website and yea, there's a lot of eye candy there! And the clothes look good too lol! The guys make me want to hit the gym tho - I'm built like a runner, but far too skinny. But I ordered the Safe-T-Guard jock that you recommended, as well as a black McDavid jock that I thought I'd try - they didn't have anything Priape in the color/size combination that I wanted, so I'll have to wait on those -and I REALLY want those! And I saw the new Mojave and Luxe jocks at N2N bodywear - they're fashion jocks but they look really hot! But for now, I can't wait to start wearing my new jocks - it's hot just thinking about it! And maybe I'll have to wear them if I ever hit the gym again.

So my new stuff finally arrived, and I thought I'd give everybody a quick review. I tried on both the Safe-T-Guard and the McDavid. For me, the McDavid fits better, although things are still snug. The Safe-T-Guard is still too small even though I sized up - there's not enough fabric up front, and so my package pulls the 3" waistband from laying flat. So I guess next I'm going to order some stuff from Priape - although I'm wondering if the c-ring will work for me since the jock is lo-rise, and maybe pick up a jock from N2N.
So keep the recommendations coming guys! Maybe I will post a pic or two when I find the perfect jock!

Just ordered the Priape football lace-up jock - can't wait for it to come!
